Part Time Claims Manager – Green Technology (Commercial Claims)

Circa £50,000 pro‑rata

The Opportunity
We're supporting a well‑established organisation operating within the green technology / renewable energy space, looking for an experienced Claims Manager to own a portfolio of commercial claims relating to solar and wider green technology projects.

• End‑to‑end management of commercial customer and insurance claims within the green technology / solar portfolio
• Main point of contact for insurers, brokers, loss adjusters and external law firms
• Managing claim documentation including schedules of loss, correspondence, expert reports and policy materials
• Coordinating investigations and evidence gathering with operational, finance, legal and technical teams
• Monitoring claim spend, reserves and budgets in line with governance and insurer requirements
• Ensuring compliance with policy conditions and notification obligations
• Providing clear reporting on claim status, risk exposure and emerging trends to senior stakeholders
• Driving claims to resolution with a balance of technical accuracy and commercial pragmatism
• Supporting improvements to claims processes and controls

• Experience handling construction‑related disputes or complex commercial claims, ideally within energy, infrastructure or renewables
• Proven experience managing complex insurance and customer claims independently
• Strong working knowledge of insurance policy interpretation, claims reserving and insurer expectations
• Experience liaising with brokers, loss adjusters and legal advisers
• A commercial, pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
• Excellent organisation, stakeholder management and communication skills
