Barker Ross are recruiting for HGV Shunters / Washers for a food distribution company in WA5 Warrington. This is an immediate start.
Key details:
The role will be mainly working in outdoor conditions but will come with some administration duties by monitoring of the vehicle temperature system and downloading vehicle data for compliance audits. In this role you'll be a critical member of the Compliance team, ensuring that our HGV fleet hygiene is maintained to a high standard following a cleaning schedule with records maintained.
You'll be willing to reactively respond to cleaning duties of vehicles as required, keep colleagues and visitors safe by gritting/ploughing duties in adverse weather along with other general duties to help us achieve company goals as a team.
To join us as a Vehicle Hygienist you'll have good attention to detail and accuracy. Be someone that will thrive in our busy Depot with a willingness to provide the best possible service with a professional and friendly approach to the tasks you undertake.
Full driving licence (Category
B) is essential.
Category C licence (Class
2) or above is desirable but not essential.
Key requirements:
- No more than 6 points on DL
- Uk licence in date
Must be able to pass assessment on first day
No previous shunting experience required
