2nd charge case Manager Team Leader

Position: 2nd charge case Manager Team Leader (Permanent)
As the Team Manager for 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the performance of our team. We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the second charge mortgage market and underwriting processes.

Salary £40k basic + bonus including car allowence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

* Manage and lead a team of 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers.

* Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

* Motivate and inspire the team to exceed performance target

Reporting and Analysis:

* Generate comprehensive Management Information (MI) reports, including pipeline cases, completions, and volume projections.

* Proactively monitor and manage pipeline cases throughout the end-to-end process.

Quality Assurance:

* Ensure adherence to file quality standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Review underwriting decline decisions, exploring and challenging all available options.

Process Excellence:

* Drive continuous improvement in business operations and efficiency.

* Plan and implement innovative processes and strategies to enhance team productivity.

Training and Development:

* Effectively manage team members, providing continuous training and development.

* Foster an environment of continuous learning to ensure optimal team efficiency.

Performance Recognition:

Conduct regular team meetings to recognize achievements, review targets, and discuss workloads.

Requirements:

* Essential:
Management Experience

* Extensive experience in the second charge mortgage market and underwriting processes.

* Strong leadership and motivational skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proven ability to analyze and present statistical data.

* Capacity to drive performance and implement process improvements.
