Position: Sage 200 Account Manager

Overview

We're looking for a Sage 200 Account Manager to join our team. As a Sage 200 Account Manager, you’ll build strong relationships with existing customers, collaborate across teams to deliver tailored solutions, and help drive growth and value across our Sage 200 customer base.

Working to Datel’s values and principles, you’ll manage a portfolio of existing Sage 200 accounts across a variety of verticals, building and maintaining strong relationships to gain a deep understanding of client businesses, their priorities and strategies. You will work collaboratively to confidently propose solutions that support their challenges and ensure Datel adds value across their broader organisation. You will work alongside multiple teams at Datel with involvement across our sales teams and close collaboration with Marketing, Consultancy, Support and R&D.

Initially working remotely, you’ll maintain a regular call frequency with your accounts via telephone or Teams to have meaningful and useful contact. When needed to meet customer demand, you’ll be comfortable meeting face to face.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing Sage 200 accounts across various verticals and build deep understanding of client businesses, priorities and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers; collaboratively propose solutions that add value and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Consultancy, Support and R&D to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer success.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers by phone or Teams; be prepared to meet face to face when appropriate.

  • Creative, upbeat, innovative mindset with strong commercial acumen for managing pipeline and understanding value-based selling.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, defend against competitor activity, and develop profitable, sustainable relationships.
  • Keen interest in technology and a passion for leveraging it to deliver real business value.
  • Detailed knowledge of our products and services and a commitment to understanding the needs of each customer in your portfolio to offer a tailored account management service.
