HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Warrington

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client’s busy Warrington depot on permanent night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work with competitive PAYE rates and a respected logistics partner.

What you’ll be doing as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels
Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved
Completing night trunking runs as part of a professional logistics operation
What we’re looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months
A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card
A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

Shifts:

Night shifts, Monday to Sunday operation
Start times:
Between 22:00 and 03:00
Shift length:
Typically 10–12 hours
Pay rates:
From £20.82 to £23.85 per hour (PAYE)
Contract type:
Regular, ongoing work with consistent start times
