HGV Class 1 Driver - Position

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver - Permanent Position
Location: Appleton Thorn

We are looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Warrington. You'll be responsible for safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring compliance with all road transport legislation and company policies.

The rate of pay is £43,(Apply online only) per annum.

This role offers various shifts and flexible shift patterns:
- Monday to Friday
- Sunday to Thursday
- Tuesday to Saturday

With the start windows:
- 1pm - 4pm
- 4pm - 7pm
- 7pm - 10pm

Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be working on trunking and box work, operating well-maintained vehicles to complete timed deliveries and collections across our national network. Your Responsibilities:

- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely, legally, and efficiently
- Complete all deliveries and collections to schedule and standard
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Follow company procedures and ensure full compliance with EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

Our Perfect Worker
Requirements:

- Experience in a similar role is required
- Valid C+E (Class
1) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of EU Drivers' Hours and WTD legislation
- No more than 6 points on licence (no TT, DD, or DR codes)
- Professional, safety-first mindset and excellent communication skills

(Includes basic pay, shift enhancements, bonuses, and overtime)

Monday - Friday
Sunday - Thursday
Tuesday - Saturday
- Start windows: 13:00 - 16:00 | 16:00 - 19:00 | 19:00 - 22:00
