OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Voice / Telephony Engineer to join our team, with strong technical expertise across Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Call Manager, and the provisioning and support of users, devices, and voice services. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continual improvement of our enterprise telephony estate.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and administration for MS Teams Voice and Cisco Call Manager environments.
- Configure Cisco LAN switches to support IP Telephony (IPT) services.
- Apply a solid understanding of IP networking, addressing, and routing for IPT configuration.
- Support and manage legacy voice circuits including PSTN, POTS, ISDN
30, number range assignments, and telco ordering processes. - Configure and troubleshoot SIP, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and related call flow issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot technologies including VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323), QoS, and VLANs.
- Provision, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Phone Service deployments.
- Manage service incidents and requests via Service Now resolver groups.
- Oversee telecom and network carrier relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and delivery times.
- Operate and troubleshoot call recording systems such as Verint.
- Cisco CCNP Collaboration
- Microsoft Certified Teams Voice / Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer
- ITIL Foundation
- Proven experience in Network Voice Administration (mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex telephony and voice network issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
