As someone who is genuinely passionate about shaping our client’s future, you make use of your strong understanding of Digital Engineering technology, the client’s business needs and their culture to articulate end–to–end technology, process, business capability, and cultural roadmaps. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, understanding their current process landscape, and aiding them on their transformation journey by collaboratively creating business process models, process analysis, technology‑enabled process improvement/redesign, requirements definition and data modelling, to influence the functional design so that it satisfies real business needs.
You will lead and facilitate workshops to uncover current state pain points, improvements and rationalisations, work closely with architects, delivery teams, the client and partners to design future state solutions, contribute to capability modelling, process modelling, and user stories to articulate benefits and value. You can perform rapid analysis and decomposition of complex business information into functional and non‑functional requirements and articulate them in context of the solution and business process.
You are capable of creating a customer process pain‑point inventory, gaps, improvements and articulating these in context of solution delivery. Working alongside talented consultants, you’ll have opportunity to determine innovative solutions, grow professionally, mentor others, and transform Digital Engineering’s performance.
- Collaborate with clients, architects and delivery teams to determine business‑specific application needs.
- Lead workshops for complex projects and facilitate real requirements articulation.
- Lead the articulation of business needs to technical teams, and the technical solutions to business/client teams to ensure business value is realised.
- Demonstrate application prototypes and integrate user feedback.
- Identify application integration requirements, maintenance needs, upgrades, and data migration.
- Lead business articulation (process, requirements) aspects and support the Project Manager to meet business needs, governance approvals and delivery timescales.
- Build business process models, procedures, and standards for large complex projects encompassing multiple work streams.
- Create traceability models between Requirements, Process, Technical Solutions, Delivery Roadmaps, Test and Training.
- Integrate trends in application architecture into application development projects.
- Identify and develop opportunities, both with the client and with IBM commercial teams.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate complexity, simplify end‑to‑end workflows, automate manual tasks and deploy AI across operations.
- Mentor junior colleagues, guiding and encouraging the use of best‑practice techniques.
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise- Knowledge of Engineering and/or Manufacturing business processes and domains.
- Knowledge of PLM applications such as Teamcenter or 3
DEXPERIENCE. - Strong consulting skills gained within a professional consulting group or working in industry.
- Strong facilitation skills across multiple disciplines and hierarchy.
