Baker​/Warehouse Worker

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Baker with warehouse and retail experience to join our team at a leading meat supplier. This role involves baking high-quality pies, cooked meats, bacon, and sausages. We pride ourselves on supplying premium products to farm shops and retail outlets.

working in a chilled environment, handling meat products, and ensuring all goods are stored and dispatched efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food production processes ensuring high standards of quality
• Prepare and process various meat products according to recipes
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency
• Assist in butchery tasks as required
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
• Participate in training new staff on food preparation techniques
• Contribute ideas for product development and improvement
• Cooking of Pies and Cooked Meats
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in food production or butchery
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus
• Picking, packing, and preparing meat products for dispatch
• Operating within cold storage areas (chilled conditions)
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
