Meridell Achievement Center is seeking a dynamic Admissions
Registered Nurse (RN)
* hybrid position
* to work a full‑time schedule consisting of 5, 8‑hour shifts. Work will include assisting the admissions department and working directly with pediatric patients on the units.

Meridell Achievement Center is a nationally recognized 134‑bed private residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents who have emotional, behavioral and neurobehavioral problems. Meridell has been providing exceptional care for our patients for over 50 years. • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required), bachelors degree in nursing (preferred)
• Prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience in situational evaluation and crisis intervention a plus
• Requires a high level of initiative, motivation, independent judgment and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical demand is medium with extensive sitting, writing, and talking on telephone
• Must be able to assist during crisis intervention
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Current Texas RN License, required
