Workshop Manager

Classic Car Workshop Manager required for a Car workshop in the Hampshire area.

The salary being offered to the successful Classic Car Workshop Manager is £55,000 with the hours of Monday to Thursday from 7am to 5pm, and Fridays from 7am to 2.30pm.

Duties:

Managing a team of skilled mechanics, engine builders, and apprentices
Planning and overseeing daily workshop activities and projects
Monitoring progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely delivery
Delegating work effectively and supporting staff with technical issues

Requirements:

Proven experience in automotive workshop management, ideally with a focus on classic or historic cars
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
Excellent project management skills, capable of multitasking and prioritising
Good technical knowledge of mechanics and restoration processes
Effective communication skills for client relations and team coordination

Experience with managing workflows
An interest or background in classic cars, restoration, or automotive heritage is desirable
