Management Accountant

A leading hospitality business is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership of the group s financial processes and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to play a pivotal role in maintaining robust financial controls, supporting decision-making, and ensuring regulatory compliance across a growing business.

You ll work closely with the Finance Director, taking responsibility for accurate and timely management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations. The role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in upcoming system developments, including a transition to Microsoft Dynamics.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Prepare detailed variance analysis and insightful KPI reporting for senior management
• Maintain daily oversight of the group s cash and working capital position and produce rolling cashflow forecasts
• Lead the year-end audit process and ensure ongoing adherence to accounting standards and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and system migration projects.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Solid understanding of IFRS / UK GAAP and financial controls
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling ability, with experience in financial systems such as Sage or Dynamics
• Confident communicator able to partner effectively across the business
