This is a critical hire for the business — a role that will directly shape production performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. As a Technician in the mouldshop, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will make a tangible impact on quality, cost, and delivery outcomes.

• Set up and optimise injection moulding tools and ancillary equipment in line with master settings
• Plan and prepare upcoming production jobs to streamline changeovers
• Conduct tool changes and handovers with Quality Technicians, Supervisors, and Operators
• Troubleshoot process issues using structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis
• Capture and share technical knowledge to standardise best practices across the team
• Support new product introduction (NPI) trials and development activities
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure processes remain in control
• Contribute to continuous improvement in cost, quality, and performance

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in injection moulding, engineering, or manufacturing
• Completed apprenticeship and advanced injection moulding/process technician training
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and materials processing
• Experience in scientific moulding/DOE and problem‑solving techniques
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to corrective actions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Previous experience in an injection moulding environment

• Knowledge of gate freeze studies, residence time calculations, and clamp tonnage projection
• Familiarity with injection mould tooling and manual handling practices

• Full‑time, permanent role (40 hours per week)
