I am working with a well‑established BMS company in Watford who are looking to grow its design team. I am looking for an experienced BMS Design Engineer to join their expanding operation. With a consistent pipeline of project work coming the successful candidate will have a great opportunity to be the point of contact for clients throughout the design process from specification to handover.

You’ll join a team of around 6 Design Engineers, reporting to a supportive Design Manager. The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to work on key commercial projects across London and further afield.

You will work alongside Project Managers, Sales and Technical teams to:

• Produce BMS system designs and CAD drawings from specifications
• Size and design control panels, prepare job files and quotations
• Submit designs to clients and liaise directly on technical requirements
• Manage multiple small‑to‑medium projects (typically £100k‑£2m in value)

• Proven BMS design experience (hands‑on design is essential)
• Strong AutoCAD skills (any experience with other CAD software is a plus)
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Master Project
• Technical understanding of BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Siemens, etc.)
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
