Accounts Assistant - Reporting to Financial Controller

As an Accounts Assistant/Executive, you’ll play a key role in keeping financial operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reconciling E-Commerce Sales reports
• Assisting with weekly cashflows & payment runs
• Managing the accounts inbox and posting invoices/credit notes on Sage
• Uploading purchase & sales ledger invoices to Datev
• Reconciling accounts and analysing customer statements
• Communicating with suppliers and ensuring timely approvals
• Handling multi-currency bank reconciliations and updating cashbooks
• Supporting the Financial Controller and taking on ad-hoc projects

• Currently working towards MSc in Finance, AAT, or another accounting qualification
• 1-2 years accounting experience with a medium to large organisation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Sage; experience with Datev is a plus
• A proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
