Associate Director - Asset Finance

LOCATIONS: Manchester, Birmingham, Stoke, Chester, Bristol, Southampton, Maidstone, Bristol, Watford, Colchester, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week or 40% of your time at one of our office sites

We’re now expanding significantly and looking to welcome six new Associate Directors across the regions—an incredible opportunity to be part of a high impact team that’s scaling rapidly and shaping the future of asset finance within the Group.

The Role:

We have an opportunity to join our team, as one of our Associate Directors. This role requires a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style to deliver a range of Asset Finance products for new clients. You'll be an experienced originator who can develop, manage and drive business performance in order to successfully compete in the Asset Finance sector.

What Would You Be Doing?

  • Develop and originate high quality Asset Finance business, in line with new business targets, through multiple sources (Direct, Brokers & Vendors)

  • Demonstrate and utilise expert product knowledge to maximise delivery across all channels.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key business introducers, customers and prospects to ensure effective delivery

  • Undertake structured prospecting activities across agreed territories

  • Accountable for the structuring of financial solutions and negotiation of all deals.

  • Build and maintain an effective external network to ensure maximisation of opportunity

What You’ll Need:

You’re likely to have solid business to business experience within financial services and will ideally come from a Commercial Finance, Leasing, Asset Finance background with sound business development and sales experience.

  • Experience in client face to face sales negotiations

  • Solid understanding of Asset Finance

  • Outstanding business development skills

  • Ideally, an established network of clients and introducers from which you can originate new business

  • Excellent understanding of financials and cash flow

  • Ability to write detailed credit reports, as well as analyse, draw insights and make financial services recommendations

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure business opportunities are maximised
