Sellick Partnership are looking for a Solutions Architect to join a market leading contractor within the UK construction sector. This role is ideal for a technically driven professional that is looking for a company that will help drive their career and offer progression.

Key responsibilities of the Solutions Architect

• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business strategies, technology needs, and innovation opportunities
• Define and design technology solutions in collaboration with Business Analysts, ICT teams, users, and suppliers, ensuring strategic and governance alignment
• Research emerging technologies, maintain knowledge of architectures and roadmaps, and contribute to technical standards and policies
• Lead solution design through approval, documentation, testing, implementation, and transition into operational service
• Support governance, cost optimisation, supplier management, and continuous improvement of ICT services and the IT Service Catalogue

Required skills and experience of the Solutions Architect

• Experience with Core Suite platform or similar enterprise administration systems
• Knowledge of financial services or life & pensions environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and security frameworks
• Certifications in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Microsoft Certified Architect)

What the Solutions Architect will bring to the table

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on enterprise-scale programmes
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware
• Expertise in data migration and system interoperability
• Familiarity with Azure services and hybrid cloud environments
• Ability to produce architecture artefacts (HLD, LLD, interface specs)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
