Trainee Water Technician –
Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Located in the Watford / Hertfordshire area, this role enables you to develop skills in water system maintenance and compliance while contributing to safer, cleaner environments.

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing
• Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain customer water log books and complete documentation per guidelines and company policy
• Perform water system clean and disinfections following the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
• Limited or no direct experience is acceptable if you have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge of maintaining water systems is desirable
