Access Control Officer (London, England)

What You Will Need
  • Previous experience in a similar role and organisation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A valid SIA front‑line licence – essential
  • Knowledge of access control software, preferably C‑Cure 9000
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g., Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What You Are Going To Do
  • Provide access to site visitors, clients and contractors using C‑Cure 9000 and VM Easy
  • Maintain full compliance with operational instructions (alarm responses, building access, production)
  • Report and escalation of issues to Corps Security and on‑site management
  • Produce clear, logical, and well‑written operational reports within required time frames
  • Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures
  • Support Corps Security and site management teams in identifying and implementing service improvements
  • Stay informed on changes with building occupiers and ensure information is communicated appropriately
  • Maintain safety and security through operation of integrated security systems
  • Liaise with external authorities including the police
  • Provide immediate response to major/minor incidents (medical incidents, fire alarms, evacuations, crisis situations)
  • Complete any other admin duties deemed necessary by DSMs, supervisors or clients
