Join SGC Security Services as a Crowd Safety Supervisor and play a vital role in delivering exceptional crowd safety at some of the UK’s most exciting venues. Whether it’s premier league football, music festivals, concerts, or world-class sporting events, you’ll help create a secure, vibrant atmosphere for attendees and staff alike. We are committed to providing a safe environment while ensuring an outstanding experience for all.
Locations are Stevenage, Watford, Oxford and London.
Part-time, seasonal role; events often take place evenings and weekends
Flexible travel to venues across the UK
Deliver high-visibility security and excellent customer service at events
Conduct pre- and post-event safety checks to ensure venue compliance
Greet, assist, and direct event attendees
Prevent prohibited or restricted items entering secure zones
Monitor crowd behaviour and respond to incidents promptly
Report and manage emergencies efficiently
Ticket checking and asset protection
Supervise and support your security team
Carry out entry point security searches
Skills and ExperienceValid Door Supervisor (DS) licence required
Previous event security or similar supervisory experience advantageous
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexible availability, especially weekends and evenings
Professional, reliable, and able to exercise sound judgement
Capable of interacting with VIPs and senior management
Checkable work and personal history
Knowledge of the events industry
Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification (or willingness to complete, training provided)
First Aid Certificate; ACT, Ask Angela, and Drink Spiking certifications (links provided if needed)
