Job Title:
Senior Controls Engineer
Salary:
Up to 65,000 per annum
Hours: 8AM - 5PM

We are recruiting a Senior Controls Engineer to lead and deliver automation projects from design through to commissioning and final acceptance. This is a senior role requiring strong controls engineering expertise and proven project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple automation projects end-to-end
• Produce and manage Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
• Design controls layouts and technical documentation
• Manage project resources, schedules, budgets, and materials
• Oversee FAT, installation planning, commissioning, and final acceptance
• Provide weekly project updates, highlighting risks and progress
• Mentor junior engineers and project managers
• Attend customer sites as required

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Controls Engineer or similar
• Strong controls engineering background (PLC / automation systems)
• Solid project management experience, managing multiple projects
• Experience with FDS, electrical design, FAT, and commissioning
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
