Role Overview

Join the Cooking Team Member role at Charlie Bigham’s | B‑Corp. Our cooking teams play an essential role in the kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients for assembly teams that create award‑winning dishes.

4 days on / 4 days off – 6am to 6pm.

• Follow recipe cards and cook fresh ingredients in an industrial kitchen.
• Maintain high hygiene levels and keep a tidy workspace.
• Record and log food records.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure Bigham’s standards are met.
• Carry out effective and accurate shift handovers.
• Flag any equipment issues within your area.

• High attention to detail and strong quality focus.
• Good physical fitness – the role requires heavy lifting and lifting 20kg loads regularly.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled environment.
• Positive approach and desire to develop skills as part of a team.
• Experience in a food handling environment is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.

• Competitive salary of £14.08 per hour (including all premiums).
• Pay increase to £14.66 per hour after successful completion of 3 months’ probation.
