Offsite is a leading provider of prefabricated timber solutions, delivering precision-engineered structural systems to the Australian construction industry. With a focus on innovation, quality, and sustainability, we combine advanced CAD/CAM technologies with efficient manufacturing to streamline building processes from design to installation. Our team of detailers, engineers, and production experts work collaboratively to create smarter, faster, and more sustainable ways to build.

At Offsite, we’re not just shaping timber — we’re reshaping how construction happens.

We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on QHSE Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will help drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with WHS legislation, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our workshop, site, and corporate environments.

About the Role

The QHSE Advisor supports the development and implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This is a hands‑on role that spans workshop, site, and corporate environments, providing guidance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to the business.

What You’ll Do

Develop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Assist with compliance to QHSE legislation, regulations, and client requirements

Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations; track findings and implement corrective actions

Support the preparation and coordination of Management Review Meetings and bi‑annual IMS reviews

Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff

Maintain accurate records of training, incidents, audits, and inspections

Support the implementation and accessibility of safe work procedures on‑site

Assist with general QHSE administrative duties and support continuous improvement initiatives

What We Are Looking For

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a QHSE role, preferably in construction or manufacturing environments

Diploma or Degree in OHS, HSE, WHS, or related discipline

Strong knowledge of Australian WHS, environmental, and quality legislation and standards

Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations

Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills

Meticulous attention to detail and systems‑oriented approach

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Current Construction Safety Induction (White Card) and First Aid certification

Experience with ISO Accreditation Systems or WHS monitoring software

Auditor or Return‑to‑Work Coordinator certification

Mental Health First Aid certification

If you're passionate about safety, quality, and making a real impact, we want to hear from you!
