We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on QHSE Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will help drive a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with WHS legislation, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our workshop, site, and corporate environments.
About the RoleThe QHSE Advisor supports the development and implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) systems to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This is a hands‑on role that spans workshop, site, and corporate environments, providing guidance, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to the business.
What You’ll DoDevelop, implement, and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Assist with compliance to QHSE legislation, regulations, and client requirements
Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations; track findings and implement corrective actions
Support the preparation and coordination of Management Review Meetings and bi‑annual IMS reviews
Deliver QHSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff
Maintain accurate records of training, incidents, audits, and inspections
Support the implementation and accessibility of safe work procedures on‑site
Assist with general QHSE administrative duties and support continuous improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking ForMinimum 5+ years’ experience in a QHSE role, preferably in construction or manufacturing environments
Diploma or Degree in OHS, HSE, WHS, or related discipline
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS, environmental, and quality legislation and standards
Experience with audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills
Meticulous attention to detail and systems‑oriented approach
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Current Construction Safety Induction (White Card) and First Aid certification
Experience with ISO Accreditation Systems or WHS monitoring software
Auditor or Return‑to‑Work Coordinator certification
Mental Health First Aid certification
