Tools Technician

Due to the continued growth, we are seeking a small tools technician to join our busy team based at Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool.

The main purpose of the job is to perform diagnostics, service and repairs on a range of small tools equipment, including various brands. We are looking for technicians with previous experience.

• Inspect and test completed machines to ensure they are operating at expected performance levels, reporting any further defects or suspect conditions to the customer.
• Complete job-related admin and reports including job cards and timesheets
• Maintain a tidy and organised workstation and ensure due care is given to customer and company property
• Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times

• Knowledge and experience of a variety of small tools.
• Engine and transmission experience and competent and workshop-based diagnostics.
• Ability to interact with customers and develop/build a relationship that ultimately delivers a positive, satisfying experience.
• Communication – ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Present a professional image at all times.

The full-time position is for 42.5 hours per week, with the ability to work overtime as business dictates. The new purpose Welshpool Depot is open 6 days a week with Saturday working on a rota basis.
