Position: Finishing Foreman (Residential)
We are currently representing a well-established UK residential developer and place maker delivering a large-scale housing development in Welwyn Garden City. The scheme forms part of a wider programme focused on providing high-quality, sustainable homes, including a strong proportion of affordable housing, with an emphasis on long-term community creation and excellent build standards.

The Role
Our client is looking for a Finishing Foreman to support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy residential site.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting the Site Manager with daily site operations and programme delivery

* Supervising subcontractors and trades to ensure quality and productivity

* Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance across site

* Assisting with inspections, snagging and quality control

* Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics

* Maintaining site records, reports and documentation

* Attending site meetings and liaising with contractors and suppliers

Candidate Requirements

* 1–2 years’ experience working as a Finishing Foreman / Manager on a residential construction site

* Valid SMSTS and First Aid certificates (essential)

* CSCS card

* Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
