Experienced Sourcing Manager to join a leading national retailer’s Commercial team at the central office in North London.

• take full end‑to‑end ownership of the commercial and sourcing strategy for the COGS in own‑brand categories
• build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• understand key cost drivers and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
• take full responsibility for negotiating cost‑price increases and ensuring timelines are communicated throughout the process
• work collaboratively with current suppliers to reduce COGS and expand range opportunities
• maintain outstanding levels of supplier service and resolve issues promptly in partnership with internal departments
• seeking new suppliers to deliver a stronger commercial offer or to supply new/alternate products and categories
• analyse sales figures to plan successful future lines with the own‑brand team
• work closely with new product development teams to maintain quality levels within products
• present reports, figures and trend information to the Senior Management team

• proven buying, procurement or sourcing experience within a fast‑moving FMCG/food environment
• ability to influence and negotiate effectively
• ability to adapt swiftly in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail market
• excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively at all levels
• excellent understanding of all MS Office products
