We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a flagship £25M industrial development in the Wembley / Heathrow region. This is an excellent opportunity to take commercial responsibility on a high-profile project with a contractor known for delivering large-scale industrial, logistics, and commercial schemes across the UK.

The Role

You will play a key role in the commercial management of a new-build industrial facility, involving steel-frame construction, external works, and specialist subcontract packages.

Responsibilities include:

Managing commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final accounts

Preparing and reviewing subcontract tenders, contracts, and valuations

Monitoring cost control, forecasting, and reporting to senior management

Ensuring contract compliance and managing risk throughout the project lifecycle

Collaborating closely with project management, design, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor

Experience on industrial sheds, logistics units, or large steel-frame builds is highly desirable

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex subcontract packages

Solid understanding of JCT or NEC contracts

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
