Metering Health Engineer – Sert Group
Join the Smart Energy Movement. We’re growing our Metering Team and looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals to help deliver smarter, greener energy solutions across the UK.
Our network covers Norwich (/IP/PE), Colchester & Chelmsford (CO/CM/IP/CB), Huntingdon & St Neots (HP/LU/MK/SG), Peterborough (PE/CB/), and London with SE London, Dartford & Orpington, Enfield, Ilford, Harrow & Wembley, Slough & West Middlesex, and Central London.
What You’ll Be Doing- Providing pre‑ and post‑installation support to customers.
- Clearly explaining how their meters work.
- Reconnecting meters and replacing SIMs, modems, batteries, and aerials.
- Encouraging energy‑saving behaviours.
- Carrying out site surveys and updating records using a tablet.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self‑motivated, organised and able to work independently.
- Comfortable using tools and working at height.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good local area knowledge.
- Experience in smart metering or meter reading.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- £27,000 – £28,405 salary + performance bonus.
