Accounts Senior – Accounting Practice

We’re working with a well-established accounting practice that’s looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role for an Accounts Senior who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio and delivering high-quality work across statutory and year-end accounts.

This opportunity would suit an Accounts Senior with strong practice experience who is confident working independently and supporting clients day to day.

The Role – Accounts Senior

As an Accounts Senior, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial information for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Senior role include:

* Producing statutory accounts for limited companies

* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders and partnerships

* Completing corporation tax returns

* Working with cloud accounting software including Xero and Sage

* Using Excel confidently, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs

* Managing deadlines and prioritising workload effectively

About You

This role would suit an Accounts Senior who has:

* Previous practice experience in a similar Accounts Senior role

* Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA) or qualified by experience

* Strong experience producing statutory accounts and year-end accounts

* Experience preparing corporation tax returns

* Hands-on experience with Xero and Sage

* Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
