MBP is the UK’s leading independent stockist of doors from all major suppliers, and a market leading manufacturer of standard and bespoke fire doors, doorsets and glazed screens.

MBP Doorkit Solutions, part of the MBP umbrella, are now seekingfor an Estimator, who can work within the estimating team to create quotations for New Build Housing contracts, for Doorkits and Pre Hung Doorsets

Full product & role training will be given.

40 hrs Monday to Friday 0800 - 16:30

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

* Evaluate architects drawings to create a quotation schedule.

* Check all products against technical information including fire certificates & data sheets.

* Cost project based on information received on a project by project basis.

* Ensure all quotations are accurately entered into our CRM system and create job folders

* Support handover meetings with the contracts team once orders are won.

* Comply with Health and Safety responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

* A minimum of 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths and English

* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

* Experience working with architectural drawings is desirable

* Excellent working knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft software

* Knowledge or background within the joinery industry is beneficial
