£50,000 - £55,000
About the client
Our client are one of the UK’s largest steel suppliers who do front end manufacturing. Through growth they are now looking to bring on a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is mechanically biased but still experienced with electrical.
As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
* Providing both Reactive & PPM maintenance.
* Working on a variety of machinery, most notably CNC Flame Cutting Machines & Lumsden Grinders.
* Fault finding both electrical & mechanical.
* PLC fault finding ability.
* Adhering to all health and safety on site.
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Engineer position will have experience:
* Working in heavy industry.
* Multiskilled with a Mechanical bias.
* Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G), must be level 3 in an electrical discipline.
* Electrical (AC+DC) with 18th edition (or previous editions desirable).
* Must have knowledge of fault finding on PLC’s, fault finding in panels and be able toread electrical drawings etc.
* Hydraulics Knowledge
* Experience with Gas
* Experience with Cranes / Working at Height
* General Building Work
As a Maintenance Engineer you will:
* Work Monday – Friday, 6am – 3.30pm, 2.30pm finish on Fridays
* Have a company car and fuel card
* Death In Service
* Company Pension
