RFIC Design Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Design and verify RFIC components such as wideband PLL frequency synthesizers, VCOs, prescalers, charge pumps, loop filters, and LDOs.
- Develop and optimize fractional-N and integer-N PLL architectures for phase noise, spur, power, and area performance.
- Perform circuit-level design and simulation using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre
RF, and ADS. - Conduct layout supervision to ensure performance and reliability (e.g., parasitic extraction, matching, EM modeling).
- Collaborate with system architects, digital designers, and test engineers to define specifications and validate silicon performance.
