Monday-Thursday 8 : 00-5 : 00pm, Friday 8 : 00-1 : 00pm

The Design Engineer is crucial to ensure the integrity of the product. Commencing with the creation of accurate item data and bills of materials in MRP, maintaining said data by the smooth and efficient delivery of our engineering change process, through producing and maintaining drawings and technical documentation to clearly communicate change to internal and external customers.

Wr are looking for :

• 1x Design Engineer - Electrical wire harness looms
• 1x Design Engineer - Sheet metal Fabrication

Working within a supportive team working on a range of projects. In this role, you will assist with the design of sheet metal fabrications as well as electrical installation drawings and schematics.

• Bill of material accuracy within the MRP system
• Design engineering with the use of Creo (Other systems will be considered as transferrable skills).
• Item data accuracy within the MRP system
• Management and timely delivery of engineering change while ensuring product quality is never put at risk
• Accurately document & communicate outputs from the engineering change process
• Co-ordination of activities carried out by suppliers of services related to product regulatory compliance
• Maintenance of product technical control files
• Deliver continuous improvement, quality, cost, and NPI targets, as a member of a cross functional team

• Create and maintain bills of materials and item data in the business MRP software (QADTM)
• Manage, deliver, communicate, & report engineering change from receipt of request through to completion
• Create technical documentation to support the communication of engineering change
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including technical bulletins, SOP’s / work instructions and product user manuals
• Liaise with providers of product regulatory testing and certification services and manage and communicate workflow requirements and progress
• Provide engineering and technical support to quality, operations, purchasing & materials,

• Experienced in data management within an MRP software system
• Design Engineer (3D) with the use of Creo or other similar systems
• Bill of material (BOM) creation & maintenance within an MRP software system
  
  Competent in use of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams
• Document control
• Creation of written technical documentation

• Use of CAD software (CREOTM preferably, other software packages considered).
• Refrigerated and / or beverage equipment manufacture
• Leading technical teams and / or projects
• Familiarity / working with / to UK / EU / global regulatory directives and standards
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment
