Financial Management and Use of Resources Financial Planning:
Leading the successful coordination of the 10-year Long Term Financial Plan and the annual budget.

Efficiency Measures:
Coordinating cash-releasing efficiency measures to support the Trusts annual and multi-year Cost Improvement Programs (CIP) Audit and Reporting:
Ensuring monthly and annual accounts meet the highest professional standards and maintaining a regular dialogue with external auditors.

Compliance:
Ensuring all financial policies comply with legislation and the Trusts Standing Financial Instructions.

Costing, Income, and Contracting Income Oversight:
Providing leadership for the Income function, including planning and recovery maximisation.

Contract Negotiations:
Leading financial negotiations with commissioners and ensuring NHS contract terms align with Trust objectives.

Activity Integration:
Ensuring that income and activity planning are fully integrated with operational performance and delivery.
