This is a two year fixed term contract.
This role is central to leading and managing the commissioning of advice services, working closely with the Head of Service, operations managers and voluntary sector partners.
You will oversee the full commissioning cycle, from needs analysis and tender preparation through to contract monitoring and provider governance. Acting as a key advisor to the Council, you will ensure services are high-quality, sustainable and compliant with legislation, while supporting service redesign, market development and effective engagement with users and community organisations.
You will also manage performance and review functions, ensuring robust frameworks are in place to drive improvement and protect the Council from legal challenges.
The post requires strong leadership, the ability to represent the service at strategic meetings and a commitment to equality, risk management and financial accountability.
This is an opportunity to shape service delivery, support the voluntary sector and make a meaningful impact on the community.
You must be educated to degree level or equivalent, eg NVQ Level 4.
Hours:
37 hours per week.
