As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Perimeter Observation in West Hollywood, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with visitors and the community, report observations, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and support compliance with site entry procedures; report observed access concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
