Envar is a producer and supplier of high quality soil improver, woodland garden mulch, wood chip and biomass. We operate green waste composting sites across England with sites in Surrey, Northamptonshire, West London, Essex, Kent and Suffolk as well as our flagship site in Cambridgeshire where we also process food waste. In addition to composting Envar also recycle coffee grounds.

We're currently looking for an Industrial Cleaner who will be responsible for the upkeep of the site and ensuring that all general house keeping is in line with the company standards. Having a clean and well presented site is crucial from not only a compliance perspective but also to present to visitors and for our own staff to show we take pride in what we do.

It is an integral role for the business.

• You must remain aware at all times of your responsibilities for your own health and safety and for the health and safety of your work colleagues.
• You must ensure that all times the correct PPE is worn.
• Check and empty bins and ensure all bins are allocated as per requirements.
• Keep the site clean and tidy in accordance with a fixed schedule of duties.
• Use of high-pressure water cleaning equipment.
• Assist with the general operation as required, including cleaning of framework, walls, walkways and platforms.
• Dust, vacuum and use of floor scrubbers at machine level.
• Maintain the hygiene levels in the office building/welfare.
• Support SHEQ with onsite labouring jobs.
• Clear any site spillages and undertake deep cleans as required.
• Working in confined spaces.
• Working at height.
• Operation of site machinery.
• Bobcat and Forklift operation.
• Although equipment is supplied this is a manual job and will require the appropriate level of fitness.
