Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

E.A. Hawse Health Center is seeking a dependable, compassionate CCMA or LPN to join our Romney team. This position supports our healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care and keeping daily clinic operations running smoothly.

• Prepare patients for appointments, including recording vital signs, medical histories, medications, and the reason for their visit.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and office procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered, within the employee’s credentials and authorized scope of practice.
• Collect specimens and perform approved clinical testing.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record.
• Assist with patient calls, prescription requests, referrals, and follow-up instructions as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and properly stocked supplies.
• Follow infection prevention procedures and protect patient confidentiality.
• Work closely with providers and other staff to provide courteous, efficient patient care.

• Current CCMA certification or an active West Virginia LPN license.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy medical office.
• Commitment to compassionate, respectful patient care.
• Experience in a medical office and familiarity with electronic health records preferred.
