Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair a diverse vehicle fleet, including Class 8 trucks, petroleum tank trailers, and refrigerated trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep vehicles operating safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all equipment meets applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate service/maintenance records for inspections and repairs.
- Coordinate specialized repairs and collaborate with relevant resources as needed.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and provide effective diagnostic and repair solutions.
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills across commercial trucks and specialized trailer systems.
- Ability to identify failures, determine root causes, and execute reliable repairs.
- Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and capability to maintain complete, accurate documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills and readiness to work effectively during roadside incidents.
