An growing accountancy practice based in Weston-Super-Mare is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team as a hands on addition responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal & corporate tax, VAT, Bookkeeping and other services. You will have a wide ranging role within this successful team and firm.

Based in Weston-Super-Mare this successful firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries and turnover to encompass sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, SMEs and OMBs up into the £milliions in turnover on their larger clients.. The firm has a long serving, stable team offering a supportive and team focused culture and environment, with hybrid working and mix of home to office working on offer, flexible to consider part or full time hours to suit around the right person accordingly.

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firms Weston-Super-Mare offices you will be responsible for the hands on preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance. Along with this you will oversee, review and be hands on with bookkeeping, VAT and wider services acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will also help and assist other more junior staff and become a key member of this successful firm, supporting the directors.

You may be qualified, or part across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background preparing and reviewing year end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT, working with wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within a UK accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.

Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate, with mix of home to office and hybrid working.
