Our client is currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) or Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support the delivery of ongoing civil engineering projects. As a respected infrastructure contractor, our client specialises in providing safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

You will play a key role in monitoring cost performance, supporting contract administration, and working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across a range of civil engineering works, including highways, public realm, and maintenance schemes.

You’ll work alongside a driven and experienced team of civil engineering professionals delivering projects across various frameworks. Support and mentoring will be provided by a Senior Quantity Surveyor, who will work closely with you to ensure your continued professional development.

• Experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally supporting senior QS professionals
• Knowledge of cost control and contract administration
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Background in civil engineering or highways maintenance; experience with self‑delivery is a plus
• NEC contract experience is essential
