Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £26.20 per hour

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Recovery Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a community mental health service in Weston-super-Mare. This is a full-time, weekday role offering consistent hours and competitive pay.

Role Overview

As a Band 6 Recovery CPN, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary community mental health team, supporting adults with a range of mental health needs. The role focuses on recovery-oriented care, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions within the community.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a defined caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
Undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans using a recovery-focused approach
Delivering evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support
Monitoring mental state, medication compliance, and treatment effectiveness
Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, and other professionals
Liaising with families, carers, and external agencies as appropriate
Maintaining accurate, timely, and professional clinical records
Requirements

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
Proven experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse at Band 6 level
Strong knowledge of community mental health pathways and recovery models
Excellent assessment, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community work)
