Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £26.20 per hour

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Recovery Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join a community mental health service in Weston-super-Mare. This is a full-time, weekday role offering consistent hours and competitive pay.

As a Band 6 Recovery CPN, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary community mental health team, supporting adults with a range of mental health needs. The role focuses on recovery-oriented care, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions within the community.

• Managing a defined caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
• Undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
• Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans using a recovery-focused approach
• Delivering evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support
• Monitoring mental state, medication compliance, and treatment effectiveness
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, and other professionals
• Liaising with families, carers, and external agencies as appropriate
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and professional clinical records

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
• Proven experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse at Band 6 level
• Strong knowledge of community mental health pathways and recovery models
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for community work)
