If so this exciting new role could be for you! Our client is a manufacturer of a wide range of bespoke products used across multiple industries. They are looking for a Stock controller to join the team and help them achieve there mission of providing the best solutions for customers.
Your role responsibilities:
* Responsible for monitoring and managing stock levels, ensuring a steady supply of goods to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs
* Using stock replenishing system to order new stock
* Analysing demand and production requirements ensuring the timely availability of products
* Communicating with suppliers to track orders, confirm delivery dates, resolve discrepancies, expediting urgent orders, and taking proactive measures to resolve stock-related issues
* Accurately maintaining Item records in ERP system
* Responsible for managing supplier relationship, monitor current & past performance, identify underperformance, and seeking for continuous improvements
* Track slow-moving, non-moving, and aged stock; analyse underlying causes and recommend appropriate solutions
* Responsible for the successful introduction of new products, setting up new Items in database, collaborating closely with the R&D department on the approval process, ensuring stock availability in time for the product launch date
Requirements
* Experienced in use of MS Outlook & MC office
* Strong analytical skills: collect, interpret, and process data to find solutions to problems
* Problem-Solving:
Identifying issues and coming up with effective, practical solutions
* Attention to Detail:
Noticing and accurately processing the problem
* Handling multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
* Willingness to embrace change and adapt with growth
* Self-motivated and driven, ability to forward thinking and planning
* Communicate effectively verbally and written and ensure that critical information is provided in a timely manner
* Ability to follow written process
* Flexible with a fast response to changing priorities
* Consistently delivers quality work
Hours :
Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm (days only)
