Our Wharfedale House service is home to sixteen adults with physical disabilities. Our service feels like family: relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate – from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

• 24 hours per week (2 nights)
• You’ll need to be flexible to work weekends as part of a rota.

• Waking/Night shifts: 8:30 pm – 8:30 am (12‑hour shifts)

• 28 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays (+1 day every year up to 33 days)

• Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour applies only to night working (8 pm to 7 am) and weekend working (8 pm Friday to 7 am Monday). This does not apply to sleep‑ins.

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
• Encourage independence through a person‑centred approach
• Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
• Keep clear, accurate records
• Most importantly, help each person live life on their own terms

• Waking Night Experience (ideally Supporting Those With Physical Disabilities)
• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Personal Care Experience (helpful, but not essential)
• A genuine desire to help others and make a difference
