Summary

This is a multi‑drop delivery driver role supporting Cencora’s veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through its MWI Animal Health business. You will be responsible for delivering company products to customers in a safe, timely manner while representing the company and maintaining the highest standard of customer care.

Responsibilities
  • Abide by all company guidelines and MHRA requirements in relation to the delivery of company products
  • Deliver goods accurately and on time according to daily driving schedules, obtaining proof of delivery at all manned premises
  • Sort goods on arrival at depot into route order and load vans in the correct delivery sequence; support colleagues with sorting and loading as required
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle roadworthiness
  • Record and report all vehicle defects promptly (including nil defects)
  • Meet all legal requirements for highway use and comply with EU, Domestic and WTD rules
  • Record and report all damages in accordance with company policy
  • Adhere to company guidance regarding delivery and return of goods supplied through the depot
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness with company vehicles to project a professional image
  • Follow company standards regarding workwear and PPE
  • Correctly use all equipment supplied and maintain it in good condition; report any faults or issues in a timely manner
  • Take all reasonable precautions to safeguard the vehicle and its contents, ensuring vehicles are locked when unattended
  • Only allow passengers who are associates or authorized by the company
  • Maintain strong links with both the Transport and Customer Service Departments
  • Remain contactable on the workplace phone, keeping it connected to Bluetooth when at work
  • Be flexible and react positively to business changes
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and adhere to start times
  • Follow company procedure for times of absence
  • Ensure compliance with Domestic, EU and WTD regulations
  • Understand and comply with job-relevant Companies Practice Standards at all times
  • Understand company standard operating procedures and attend training sessions as appropriate
Requirements
  • Professional driver with a good driving record and a license appropriate for the role
  • Ability to maintain concentration while driving and training for long periods
  • Excellent communication skills accurate and timely paperwork is essential
  • Attention to detail; accurate and comprehensive record keeping is critical
  • Customer care mindset – you will be the face of both the business and the department
