- Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing construction consultancy delivering a range of high‑end residential and refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing cost planning, procurement, and contract administration on a range of prestigious schemes, working alongside senior team members to deliver successful project outcomes. QuantitySurveyor
- Key Responsibilities
- Prepare budget estimates, cost plans, and pricing documents
- Produce and analyse tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities and schedules of work
- Manage procurement from initial enquiry to subcontract award
- Assist in preparing and issuing JCT contract documentation
- Administer contracts, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Undertake value engineering and cost control throughout project delivery
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure cost efficiency and compliance
- Work toward achieving RICS chartership through structured APC support
- RICS-accredited BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (essential)
- 2-5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (consultancy or contractor background considered)
- From a contractor background proven experience in procurement and preparing JCT contracts within the residential sector
- High‑end residential experience advantageous
- Strong understanding of cost management principles across all project stages
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- Genuine desire to progress professionally and achieve RICS qualification
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
