Associate Quantity Surveyor – Sevenoaks

My client seeks a Chartered Quantity Surveyor at Associate Designate level based at their Kent office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious MRICS qualified PQS looking to progress to Director level.

You'll work on projects ranging from £5m to £50m across mixed-use, residential, education, commercial office, industrial and more. The role involves all aspects of the PQS function – pre and post‑contract work, supporting the Associate Director in managing and growing the cost management division, and opportunities for promotion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Involved in all aspects of pre‑ and post‑contract work.
  • Support Associate Director in managing cost division.
  • Engage in business development and networking.

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified, with 5+ years PQE.
  • Strong pre and post‑contract experience.
  • Ability to manage other QSs.
  • Proficient in CostX, Excel and other cost tools.
  • Excellent English and client‑facing skills.
  • Ambitious, analytical, stable work record.

Salary – Negotiable, likely £10,000‑£12,000 per annum plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus and other benefits.

Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview (Interim, Thames Ditton, Surrey)

An exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a growing consultancy delivering high‑end residential and refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and pricing documents.
  • Produce and analyse tender documentation, Bills of Quantities.
  • Manage procurement from enquiry to subcontract award.
  • Assistance with JCT contract documentation.
  • Contract administration, valuations, variations, final accounts.
  • Value engineering and cost control throughout delivery.
  • Client, design team and contractor liaison.
  • Working towards RICS chartership with APC support.

Requirements:

  • RICS‑accredited BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel, full UK driving licence.

Project Quantity Surveyor – Galliard Homes (London)

Galliard Homes is London’s largest privately owned property developer. The Project Quantity Surveyor will deliver commercial and cost‑management support for cladding remediation, cost planning, and construction‑led initiatives across a wide range of schemes.

Key duties include:

  • Commercial support across cladding remediation and cost planning projects.
