Sony Global Treasury Services (GTS) operates as Sony's in-house bank and financial hub, providing essential payments, funding, and forex hedging services across the globe. We communicate directly with international banks to secure optimal financial solutions that power Sony's diverse businesses.

* Financial Planning, including forex risk management, of the intermediary holding company
* Support & facilitate funding arrangements for Sony businesses
* Interact with major banks to gain crucial insights into the latest capital market trends.
* Plan and deliver tailor-made financial solutions for a diverse array of business needs.
* Cash Flow management for European and Latin American businesses, through collection and analysis of forecasts from businesses to be used for group-wide funding planning
* Support Forex Hedging Planning with our wider teams
* Provide internal lending facility to meet business needs after assessing funding needs and seasonality of businesses
* Execute multi currencies hedging requests from businesses through detailed analysis of commercial flows, report aggregate hedge position for the treasury team to hedge with banks
* Plan and implement foreign currency hedging mechanisms in countries with currency restrictions
** You Will Bring
*** A relevant University degree in the areas of Finance, Economics or Accounting
* An authentic interest in working in a Treasury function
* A data obsessed mindset with the desire to constantly test your analytical skills & use them to generate valuable insight and actions for the business
* Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPS/Pivot Tables/Formatting)

** Based at the Weybridge office, you will enjoy a vibrant and friendly working environment. We have an onsite canteen with a wide range of options available, and a barista style coffee shop. There is a well-provisioned onsite gym run by our own Sony Wellbeing Coordinator, with classes on set days in the mornings, at lunch and after work hours. ** Once you submit your application, your profile will be carefully reviewed by one of our Talent Acquisition team. If your profile is suitable, we will then invite you to participate in a self-recorded video interview. You can complete this whenever it suits you & wherever is most comfortable. Note, you’ll have unlimited retake opportunities, should you not be happy with your submission.

Following that, you’ll then be invited on-site to our Weybridge office to meet with several members of the team & take part in an Excel-based case-study task prior to your interview.

Once this step is complete, we’ll be ready to move to offer stage!
