Our mission is to provide an outstanding customer experience. While you may be called a “delivery driver,” your role as a Customer Service Team Member involves delivering top‑quality products on time and in an efficient manner.

You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station – you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use automated technology to pre‑plan your route and pre‑load your van. Our working patterns involve evenings, weekends, and weekdays, so on top of your base pay you will receive premiums that increase your average hourly earnings to £13.75 per hour.

All your breaks are paid, and you can stack your earnings with enhanced overtime.

You don’t need any previous experience – just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our training team will do the rest.

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable)
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years

Some deliveries involve alcohol products, so you must be over 18.

As this is a customer‑facing role, good communication skills are essential.

• You will be invited to a site tour to meet the team and have a light touch interview
• DBS check will be run
• Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start

Contract Type:
Permanent. Your contracted workweek is 40 hours, scheduled as either four 10‑hour days or five 8‑hour days within a seven‑day period.

Shifts:

AM & PM; earliest start 05:30, latest finish 12:00 (midnight). Shift rota is released up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay structure: lunar paid – paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule.

Hourly Pay Rates

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £13.28
• Evening premium (from 6 pm): £1.12
• Sunday day premium: £1.33
• Sunday evening premium: £2.56
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (day shift): £16.60
• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (evening shift): £18.00
